Freedom Gala 2025: All Roads Lead to Selma
Purpose: This event is designed to pay homage to those movement leaders that helped evoke change in the 60’s as well as a fundraiser to help take a bus load of young people to the 60 th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery march. This annual journey exposes our youth to a positive, historical experience while developing future leaders of our communities. Our students will re-enact the crossing of the Edmund Pettus Bridge while taking advantage of the rich history Alabama has to offer.
